We at Pro to Pro extend our hearty congratulations to contributing author David Lineaweaver on achieving Master in Ophthalmic Optics! The American Board of Opticianry Master in Ophthalmic Optics designation demonstrates that an individual has attained a superior level of skill and knowledge in ophthalmic dispensing.

David began his optical career in 1990, attending the U.S Army Optical School in Aurora CO, training to be an optical laboratory technician. After completing optical school, he had assignments in Germany and Kentucky. David enjoyed working in various aspects of the optical field after leaving the military. He serves the low vision community especially well as a Certified Low Vision Therapist and currently has the privilege to work with visually impaired and blind veterans as a Blind Rehabilitation Outpatient Specialist, for the VA.
