Nouveau: Global ReLeaf Eyewear

THE GREENING OF EYEWEAR

In a licensing agreement with American Forests, Nouveau Eyewear introduces environmentally conscious Global ReLeaf Eyewear. For every Global ReLeaf frame purchased, Nouveau will plant a tree through the American Forests’ Global ReLeaf project. Targeted to young men and women, the five-style frame collection focuses on lightweight silhouettes made primarily of metal and stainless steel and includes bowties, elongated rectangles and softened ovals. Designs are ideal for healthy, active, casual lifestyles.

MARKETING:

Merchandising pieces are printed on recycled paper with environmentally friendly ink and include a frameboard dangler and countercard.

Founded in 1875, American Forests is the nation’s oldest non-profit citizens’ conservation group. In 1988, the organization launched the Global ReLeaf program to foster the planting of trees to cool the globe. To date, the organization has planted more than 25 million trees worldwide.
