Absolute Black Design presents Elizabeth and James Eyewear, a modern lifestyle brand for a new generation created by Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen. Inspired by a mix of uptown and downtown, masculine and feminine, and casual and dressy, the eyewear is targeted to women 15 to 35 looking for eclectic, effortless, fashion-forward styling. Included are 22 ophthalmic frames and 32 sunglasses constructed of handmade acetate and offered in more than 15 colors. Shapes include cateyes, vintage rounds, feminine ovals and statement-making squares highlighted with intricate beveling and the interplay of softened angular details.

MARKETING:
Merchandising materials include black velvet display trays, large and small wood logo blocks, banners, countercards, seasonal lookbooks and oversized cleaning cloths. Retailers receive an Italian leather journal as a gift with purchase. Both ophthalmic frames and sunglasses come with a pouch-style case containing a cleaning cloth and certificate of authenticity.

INSIGHT
Elizabeth and James is a contemporary fashion line created by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen featuring clothing, jewelry, shoes and eyewear. The line, which was founded in 2007 and takes its name from the twins’ siblings James “Trent” Olsen and Elizabeth Olsen, was inspired by many of the unique vintage pieces found in Mary-Kate and Ashley’s personal wardrobes.
