Our good friends at Shuron cleared up the mystery of some of the frames featured on the faces of the stars in “The Good Shepherd” film as highlighted in our September “Parting Glance.” Matt Damon is wearing the Ronsir Zyl in the main picture and the Ronstrong in the smaller picture. Check out www.shuron.com for a fantastic glimpse into their collection of wonderfully classic, retro styles, most still available with cable temples and enough sizes to fit just about any face… even Robert DeNiro’s although we’re still not sure whose frame he’s wearing on the film’s poster. By the way, last time we checked Shuron was just about one of the only companies still manufacturing frames in the USA. They’ve been players in the optical arena since 1865. They make leather steering wheel covers as well. Ya gotta love that diversity.
