NORWALK, Conn.—With just two weeks to go before the start of International Vision Expo West, more than 70 new exhibitors will be making an appearance at this year's show bringing the total number of exhibiting companies to over 450, according to show organizers. With this increase in exhibitors, the show floor will add approximately 10,000 net square feet, show organizers said.

"More exhibitors mean a more robust show with more product options for eyecare professionals," said Tom Loughran, vice president for Reed Exhibitions. "The addition of these new exhibitors and renewed participation of others, like the Luxottica brands, is a positive indicator for the upcoming show as well as for the overall health of the optical industry."

Vision Expo West, to be held Oct. 7 to 9 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, will feature over 300 show specials this year. To provide a comprehensive resource for attendees, show management has compiled a list of discounts, product demonstrations, parties and free gifts at the show. In many cases, exhibitors plan to offer multiple specials in their booths.
