New MBA Survey Shows Findings on
the Usage of Practice Websites

The Management & Business AcademyTM reveals new findings on the usage of practice websites among private optometric practices. These metrics will allow you to compare your practice website against other others within the MBA community.

Based on a March 2009 survey of MBA practices: 

  • 85% of private practices have a practice website that on average was launched in 2004.
  • An average of 76 new patients were attracted to a private practice from the practice's website within the past year.
  • One-third of practice websites have the capability of scheduling appointments, and about half have a contact lens reorder function.
