1  MARCHON EYEWEAR and Paul Smith have entered into an exclusive long-term global licensing agreement. Marchon will now oversee the design, manufacturing and global distribution of the brand’s eyewear collection beginning January 2023.

2  SAFILO GROUP celebrated its 60th anniversary in North America, unveiling a newly designed open concept booth space at Vision Expo West, along with a new corporate campaign demonstrating its commitment to “People, Product and Planet” featuring key Safilo USA employees and sales team members.

3  THE DE RIGO GROUP and Roberto Cavalli have signed a licensing agreement for the design, production and global distribution of Roberto Cavalli and Just Cavalli eyewear collections.

4  ESSILORLUXOTTICA and the Armani Group have renewed their licensing agreement for the development, production and worldwide distribution of eyewear under the Giorgio Armani, Giorgio Armani Prive, Emporio Armani, EA7 Emporio Armani and A|X Armani Exchange brands. The agreement has been renewed for 15 years, effective Jan. 1, 2023.

5  THE VISION COUNCIL has earned a Power of Associations Silver Award from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) for its successful Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts.

6  L’AMY AMERICA has announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Brad and Bryan Manning, co-founders Two Blind Brothers, to produce a collection of sunglasses and optical frames.

7  VSP VISION has appointed Thomas Burkhardt president of Marchon Eyewear, who most recently served as Marchon’s chief marketing officer and senior vice president of global brands, marketing and design.

8  OWP USA has announced that it will now be distributing FLAIR, the German brand known for sophisticated ultra-lightweight luxury eyewear, in the U.S.

9  BOLLE SAFETY has announced its first-ever partnership with the Susan G. Komen Foundation to raise money for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
