Don’t underestimate the importance of lenses in high-end sunwear. Many luxury sunwear styles feature mineral glass lenses that provide premium optics, while some offer high-tech colors and gradients for an ultra-cool look.

While luxury eyewear sits on the higher end of the price spectrum, it’s often considered an entry price point for designer luxury brands, making it a more accessible way to wear a specific brand name without making a large dent in the wallet.

The movement toward creating sustainable eyewear is by far the biggest industry “trend” or focus we’ve seen over the past few years. Research which companies are making the effort to move in a sustainable direction and learn which practices they are utilizing.

Unique temple details including embellishments, funky patterns, cutouts, ultra-thick and drop temples are trending right now in sunwear. While these statement-making design details will not go unnoticed, these types of frames are a great choice for those looking for a more subtle way to stand out.
