For customers on a budget or those who prefer not to carry an extra pair, recommend photochromic lenses or sun clips for their optical frames. Not only do they provide easy sun protection but they are super stylish as well.

Polarized lenses are important for those who spend a lot of time outdoors or on the water. Explain to your patients the benefits of polarization and how it can enhance their visual experience by reducing glare and enriching colors. Polarized test displays are a great way to demonstrate the difference.

We don’t care if we sound like a broken record—kids need sunwear. The damage caused by the sun’s harmful UV rays are cumulative, making children’s eyes even more vulnerable. When fitting your younger patients with optical frames, be sure to recommend sunglasses, too.
