Jillian Urcelay: Where did the design inspiration for the new styles in the Purist collection stem from?
Roland Keplinger: The new, ultra-lightweight rimless Purist collection was inspired by optical illusions in art and architecture, with a unique temple that changes its look depending on your perspective. From the side, the glasses look sleek and streamlined but from above, the temples have an eye-catching conical shape that embodies modern minimalism.

What is unique about these styles and the collection?
In addition to its distinctive temple design, the Purist collection offers 12 stylish lens shapes—ranging from angular to oversized butterfly, to modern geometric—and 12 colors that provide endless customization options.

As an added benefit, Purist’s integrated maintenance-free snap hinge allows for easy handling and lends to the collection’s refined aesthetic. Made from our ultra-durable SPX+ material, the frames come in two stylish finishes: on-trend matte or translucent. The sculptured flex zones in the titanium temples provide a snug, comfortable fit and can be easily adjusted.

Are there any other upcoming or current releases that Silhouette fans should be on the lookout for?
Our latest release also includes Illusion Lite, a fresh take on one of our best-selling collections. The frame fronts are crafted from Silhouette’s patented SPX+ material, providing maximum strength in an ultralight package. We’ve updated these easy-to-wear styles with delicate titanium temples and an innovative integrated hinge solution. Additionally, we’ve also revamped our Illusion Nylor collection. The new design combines soft shapes with a fresh two-tone color scheme for a look that’s timeless, but always in style.
