Ophthalmic, optometric and lens edging equipment company NIDEK CO., LTD., has formed a partnership with optical technology innovator HOYA VISION CARE (HOCPF). The global agreement creating a partnership between the two companies provides eye- care professionals (ECPs) the opportunity to access “a complete portfolio of state-of-the-art optical instruments and products to provide a full-service approach to patient care, from eye examination to consultation through to the final delivery of the high quality spectacle lenses,” according to the companies in a joint statement.

This alliance offers Hoya’s ECP partners access to Nidek’s industry leading optical products, services and instruments through both local distributors. This will enhance ECPs’ ability to offer their patients the latest in eye and vision examination equipment, visual quality and performance, according to the companies. “Our collaboration with Hoya Vision Care is a great opportunity for us to provide more ECPs with seamless eyecare solutions and to support them in achieving greater patient satisfaction and enhancing patients’ quality of life,” says Motoki Ozawa, president and CEO of Nidek Co., Ltd. “Since Nidek was established, we have continually developed a range of products for providing the joy of vision to people worldwide. This collaboration allows us to deliver our products with their high performing lenses, which offer complete patient care and directly lead to the patients’ joy of vision.”
