Everytime I think about 20/20’s Senior Editor Gloria Nicola there’s instant recall of this sketch she would always use for her 20/20 Children’s Eyewear and KidzBiz columns. Glor retired from 20/20 a few years ago. She just recently passed away. So much of 20/20 stands as tribute to her efforts and creativity within this opti-sphere. We will always miss her. In 2000, I initiated a 20/20 feature series, Artist of the Frame and asked Senior Editor Gloria Nicola if she would consider picking the first worthy subject for it. She decided on Blake Kuwahara. She always loved that story. So did Blake. So did I. And this might well be my favorite picture EVER of our Glor, here with our Blake.
