NEUBAU EYEWEAR recently made its runway debut at Berlin Fashion Week in collaboration with Berlin designer Hien Le, who showcased his fall/winter 2017/2018 collection at the Kaufhaus Jandorf. Inspired by the skateboarding culture, the designer featured women in flowing midi skirts and men in chinos and button-up shirts. A color palette of gray, beige and midnight blue are dominant in the collection as well as touches of pine green and rose. Classic cuts and details alongside wool blends, cotton and silk were heavily utilized to channel the elegant sportswear of the ’40s and ’50s style era.

Television presenter Johanna Klum, model Marie Nasemann and actor Jannik Schumann were among the 400 invited guests who were on hand to witness Le’s extraordinary designs. The designer chose to accesorize seven out of 30 looks with neubau spectacles. Some of the optical styles that were incorporated into the show such as Frida, Sam, Dani, Edmund and Sigmund, are set to be released in April. “For us, working with Hien Le, is a wonderful opportunity to prove our awareness of design and to present our glasses in an exciting, creative environment,” says Daniel Liktor, brand manager of neubau eyewear. With its urban fresh appeal, neubau eyewear is perfectly suited with the designer’s ensembles, providing a treat for the eyes on and off the runway.
