Jillian Urcelay: How would you describe new styles in OGI’s most recent spring release?
David Duralde: This season's styles from OGI reflect the growing demand for energetic, bold eyewear that is wearable and versatile. Surprising color palettes and new twists on traditional tortoiseshell patterns catch attention in any room. With bold frame shapes and exciting colors, the frames instantly amplify an individual’s personality. The vibe is expressive rather than eccentric, eye-catching yet tasteful.

Where do you think the market is moving toward in terms of shapes, materials and color combinations?
Fashion has always reflected the larger environment: In uncertain times, when the world feels unsafe, people don’t want to be safe with their fashion choices. When the world is in such a unique and unpredictable state, why be predictable in style? This is why we see a clamor for intense color, unexpected shapes and notable detailing. This makes for a very exciting time in the design sphere. Unprecedented times open wearers up to taking chances in defining their personal style.

Can you share what’s next for brand? Any special sneak peeks we can be on the lookout for in upcoming collections?
We will continue building on the success of our fun and innovative color combinations using custom laminations in our premium acetates, and you can expect to see us bring these crowd pleasers to new metal and acetate styles in the future.
