PURCHASES STILL INFLUENCED BY BRAND APPEAL
Brand interest among frame purchasers
continues to rise among consumers who say they "definitely will" or
are "very likely to purchase" eyeglasses in the next 6 months. More
consumers reported they have a specific brand or brands in mind for
a future purchase. This is up by 6% compared to last year and up
24% percent compared to the same quarter in 2002.
