NEW YORK, N.Y.—B Robinson
Optical and the Kenmark Group have signed a new strategic alliance
in which they will collaborate on the design and distribution of a
newly designed Cynthia Rowley eyewear collection. The design teams
at both companies will work together with the apparel designer on
eyewear that will launch late Spring 2005.
This new alliance will utilize the vast and complementary expertise
of both companies to provide wider distribution for the Cynthia
Rowley Eyewear collection, according to Cliff Robinson, vice
president of B.Robinson.
B Robinson Optical will continue its distribution to non-optical
retailers, including all major department stores, and to optical
chain businesses, while the Kenmark Group will distribute the
collection to independent retailers and select chains in the
optical industry. With an experienced sales team of nearly 80
individuals, the Kenmark Group projects great growth in
distribution of the Cynthia Rowley collection.
