In a sprawling, plantation-sized space luxuriously stacked in a landmark building of NYC's Upper East Side, champagne flowed, fashion was living art, and celebrity and industry support abounded within the fashion din. We lived for the evening among Stella McCartney's 2013 collection. Live models ate, drank and looked fabulous in Stella's key colors, fabrics and concocted ensembles that included her newly-minted optical assemblage from Luxottica, with draped, rich and architectural elements interleaving for another Stellar level of the fashion royalty's work. As I peeked around every crown molded corner to find Stella-clad ladies on parade along with the designer's adoring friends and fans, it was impossible not to be swept into the effervescent sea of radiant attendees taking part in the demure delight of welcoming another indelibly Stella-stamped collection, bringing the branded fashion to all who seek that special Stella style.

Frame of the Month

The rose-toned crystal layered over the frame fronts, fluid sculpting, pure coloring and the simple, pretty cursive logo cemented this piece almost immediately as our second Frame of the Month. We were more than reassured when our social media followers added their two RED cents, and we sensed our next Frame of the Month was this L'Wren Scott style 331002 from Eastern States Eyewear for sure.
