Designer and musician Gwen Stefani has teamed up with Tura to create the gx by Gwen Stefani eyewear collection. The “gx” is how Stefani signs her e-mails, and the “x” represents sending her love. Featuring 12 ophthalmic styles, the collection is designed for Stefani’s fans who are looking for an affordable way to emulate her style. Playful uses of color are spread throughout the collection along with retro-inspired and “geek chic” shapes, which show Stefani’s ability to create fresh and unique styles. Her punk rock roots come to life with the use of metallic logo plaques, pyramid studs and unconventional shapes. Appealing to a young and creative audience, pop color accents are most often found on the interior of the frame and signature tip stripe.
