Kimiko Eyewear adds a super-thin, screwless hinge collection to its Kerf Eyeworks line. Made from hypoallergenic, surgical steel with ionized plating (also hypoallergenic), the new collection consists of six styles with more planned. Super lightweight, the frames weigh 12.04 grams or 0.427 ounce. The screwless, lock hinge design measures only 4 mm in width. Silicone nosepads and temple tips provide excellent grip control. Frames are variations on rectangular shapes and are offered in such colors as black, blue and silver.

PHILOSOPHY:  “The new collection, as with all Kerf styles, is geared to today’s sharp, well-informed consumers. Inspired by the street styles of Brooklyn, N.Y., Kerf combines European craft and design with an urban sensibility,” says Kimiko founder and designer Felix Bystritsky. “Every frame is designed to be picked up, put on and worn anywhere.”

MARKETING:
Images featuring the new styles are available. The tagline for the collection is: “Instantly comfortable, universally flattering, gloriously uncomplicated.” Each frame comes with a case and cleaning cloth.
