Teka Eyewear introduces Huveli Milano, a petite/youth collection targeted primarily to the 10- to 16-year-old age range as well as petite women. Included are 20 styles; most are offered in three colors each. Shapes include rounds, squares and rectangles and are mainly unisex with select gender specific designs. The primary eye size is 47 mm with an occasional 46 mm or 48 mm. Although available in a variety of materials, Teka has found full frame acetate designs work well for this niche. The adjustability, durability and light weight of acetate allows for the best individual fits, the company says.

INSIGHT
“Teka’s mission since it began in 2007 has been to find a niche that isn’t being filled and fill it. The petite market is definitely a niche that needs to be addressed,” Tom Kramer notes.
