Luxottica launches its Coach Eyewear collection. The sunglass line featured here consists of 21 styles, which reflect the signature look of the Coach brand. A 21-piece ophthalmic collection will be previewed in a subsequent issue. The new designs combine a comprehensive range of trendy rounds, aviators, cateyes and oversized shapes in customized acetates and sleek metals with high-definition treatments to create a strong visual identity. Each style is accented with logo detailing using metal inlays, laser engravings or such novel hardware as the Kissing C’s buckle. Other details include signature charms, the legacy stripe, custom temple grommets and the iconic lozenge-shaped logo. A first for Coach, the line offers Asian fit styles with a custom bridge and nosepad arms in sophisticated colors ranging from olive and ivory to pale burgundy, spotted tortoise and blue.
