Dog-gone Good Cause

In order to raise money for animal rescue, the Portland, Ore.-based Amy Sacks Eyewear and Accessories has released a new iconic eyeglass case designed to celebrate our four-legged friends. Fifty percent of each case sale ($10 retail) will be donated to the Pixie Project, an organization started by Sacks and her mother, Ann Sacks, founder of Ann Sacks Tile and Stone, to rescue abused animals and provide low-cost spay and neuter programs as well as veterinary services for pets in low-income families. Named after an abused terrier mix rescued by Amy and adopted by Ann, the Pixie Project partly inspired the development of Amy Sacks Eyewear and Accessories to provide funding for their furry friend cause.
