It goes L.A., L.A., L.A. l.a. Eyeworks has been nominated for a Los Angeles Fashion Award in the category of Marketing Excellence, recognizing the frame maker’s internationally known advertising campaign as well as its Los Angeles-based window installations in retail shops, events and in-store promotional materials.

A committee of 33 editors, stylists, designers and retailers selected the nominees, who were announced recently at a cocktail reception on the roof of the The Standard Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. In fact, pictured below are fashion writer Rose Apodaca with l.a. Eyeworks’ own Barbara McReynolds and Melrose Avenue shop manager Tarlan Ghavami at the swanky event. The awards will be presented later this month during a red carpet ceremony at the Orpheum Theatre so stay tuned to see if this L.A. story concludes with a happy ending… Hey, we know it’s truly an honor just to be nominated; so congrats are in order no matter the outcome.
