FRAME:
Lez from Kirk and Kirk

20/20 TAKE:
This acrylic translucent frame effortlessly blends together shades of blue and pink to create a violet hue for a unique look.

Bright, vibrant and totally out there… yet doing it totally RIGHT. These fluorescent beauties light up your face so much that they appear to glow. We’ve seen a lot of translucent acetates this year—it seems like almost every brand has one. But most stick to a neutral color palette of clear, blush, nude, gray or very light lavenders. No one else does it like Kirk and Kirk—no one even compares. Their acrylic Kaleidoscope collection allows for a unique color palette that is both bold and quirky with a shade for everyone. The flame red and ocean blue (my personal favorite) command attention like no other. The coral and charcoal shades are still showstoppers, but in a more reserved hue making them easier to wear.

What really grabbed my attention was the two-tone Lez style in Violet. If you told me that hot pink and vibrant blue translucent acrylics could perfectly blend together as one, I wouldn’t have believed you. The subtle hint of color change left me doing a double take wondering if my eyes saw the frame right… and subsequently making me examine the effortless bright, beautiful hues in awe. Kirk and Kirk frames are over-the-top in the best possible way, and they perfect what they do best, awarding them the 20/20 Frame of the Month.
