Sàfilo announces a 10-year licensing agreement with Essilor for the design, manufacture and worldwide distribution by Essilor of polarized ophthalmic lenses under the Polaroid brand for use with eyewear products in general.

Try Change, known for its rimless frames with patented interchangeable temples from Allison, introduces a fully-rimmed line consisting of four shapes. Both frames and lenses are made of a super-light, super-durable polyamide. All styles are available in ophthalmic and sun versions. Each frame comes with a set of spare temples in a different color.
JIMMY CHOO TURNS ON THE FLASH
Influenced by the latest Jimmy Choo fragrance Flash, Jimmy Choo introduces Flash sunglasses, available from Sàfilo. Featuring sparkling Swarovski crystal detailing, the frame fonts are embellished with an intricate glitter fabric that catches the light. The sunglasses are offered in nude with gold/nude crystals and shaded brown lenses; black with black crystals and shaded gray lenses, blue with blue/black crystals and shaded gray lenses; and black with silver crystals and shaded gray lenses. They are presented in a glitter fabric case.
HOYA AND PAWS N CLAWS OFFER EXCLUSIVE PACKAGE
Hoya Vision Care and Eye Deals Eyewear have partnered to offer a branded frame and lens package through Hoya Labs featuring Eye Deals’ Paws N Claws frames and Hoya lenses. Paws N Claws is an official licensee of the ASPCA with the exclusive rights to use its name and affiliation in association with products including eyeglass frames, lenses, sunglasses, readers, magnifiers and accessories that include the Paws N Claws Eyewear registered trademark. For every pair of Paws N Claws Eyewear sold, Eye Deals gives 5 percent of net sales to the ASPCA. Under the program with Hoya, Hoya is also donating $3 to the ASPCA for every Paws N Claws frame equipped with Hoya lenses.
INTERCHANGEABLE AND RECYCLABLE
German-based Wildwechsel offers an eco-friendly collection of polyamide frames that feature interchangeable, hinged temples, rims and bridges designed with a surelock system that absorbs shocks and needs no adjustments. All frames are 100-percent recyclable. Broken and defective parts are ground and made into new frames.
