COLORS IN OPTICS SIGNS ELIE TAHARI
Colors in Optics has signed an eyewear licensing agreement with Elie Tahari for the design, manufacture and distribution of Elie Tahari branded ophthalmic and sunwear collections. The collections, which will debut in spring 2014, will capture a glamorous feel with creative mixes of colors and materials, offering consumers sophisticated, diverse designs. Elie Tahari is a privately held corporation with a global presence in over 40 countries and more than 600 U.S. stores, including Elie Tahari freestanding boutiques.

ALLISON’S OPPOSIT DEBUTS
Allison launches Opposit, a collection targeted to those who want to make an individual statement. The initial line consists of eight styles, available both as optical frames and as sunglasses. Each frame is accented with a metal cross and an arrow, symbolizing male and female. Inspired by earlier decades, the frame shapes range from trapezoidal and oversized designs to cateyes and perfect rounds in such colors as fuchsia, opal, pink and blue.

MYKITA ACCESSORIZES

Mykita partners with French accessories brand Cote&Ciel, known for its iconic designs, to create a collection of colorful, protective eyewear pouches made from Cote&Ciel’s signature diamond grip mesh neoprene. An inverted zipper and safety lip prevent scratching of the eyewear, and an integrated microfiber cleaning cloth eliminates losing the cloth.
