The Jones Group has entered into a worldwide licensing agreement with Altair, a division of Marchon Eyewear, for the creation, production, marketing and global distribution of ophthalmic eyewear and sunglasses under the Anne Klein brand beginning in spring 2013.

Nouveau Eyewear announces two additions to its brand portfolio: Duck Commander featuring RealTree camouflage and the international fashion label Hot Kiss. The Duck Commander brand is legendary among outdoor enthusiasts and is currently gaining an enormous following on the A&E hit reality show “Duck Dynasty” featuring its founding family. Designed for the modern, fashion-forward girl, Hot Kiss is known for its on-trend denim, dresses and footwear. Duck Commander Eyewear launches in December 2012 and Hot Kiss Eyewear in 2013.

The McGee Group and Vera Bradley have renewed a multiyear licensing agreement. The McGee Group will continue to expand Vera Bradley optical and sun collections, releasing new styles each month.

PAWS N CLAWS EYEWEAR ENTERS INTO PARTNERSHIP WITH ASPCA »

Pittsburgh-based Paws N Claws Eyewear, distributed by Eye Deals Eyewear, has entered into a partnership with the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) to produce a line of products including eyeglass frames, lenses, sunglasses, readers, magnifiers and accessories that will benefit the animal welfare organization. With the new partnership, 5 percent of net sales will be donated to the ASPCA until February 2015 for every Paws N Claws product sold. All of the Paws N Claws designs include embellished paw prints, bones or animal prints. Paws N Claws Eyewear has also enlisted international distributor California Accessories to produce products featuring the Paws N Claws patterns.
