De Rigo Vision USA, the new high-fashion, luxury division of De Rigo Italy relaunches De Rigo’s redesigned portfolio of brands including Chopard, Givenchy, Ermenegildo Zegna, Escada, Lanvin, Carolina Herrera NY, CH and the Police collections this month.

KARDASHIAN KOLLECTION ADDS OPTICAL LINE AT SEARS
Jupi Corp has collaborated with Inspecs USA, a global eyewear company, to manufacture Kardashian Kollection Eyewear, which launched at Sears Optical, a division of Luxottica Retail, in July. The new eyewear collection is inspired by Kim’s, Kourtney’s and Khloé’s individual styles, ranging from vintage boho to high glam. The optical collection consists of five styles in nine colors. The sunglasses are offered in five Rxable designs including oversized cateyes and aviators in 11 colors. Signature details consist of studded temples and animal prints.

HUGO BOSS GROUP AND SÀFILO ANNOUNCE EARLY RENEWAL OF EYEWEAR LICENSING AGREEMENT

Hugo Boss Group, one of the world market leaders in the premium fashion and luxury segment of the apparel market, and Sàfilo Group announce an early renewal of their licensing agreement through December 31, 2020 for the design, production and worldwide distribution of BOSS Black, BOSS Orange and HUGO frames and sunglass collections.

MATCH EXPANDS INTO CANADA

Match Eyewear has purchased Toronto, Canada-based Optiq Frames Ltd. Optiq, through its direct sales force, distributes a portfolio of licensed and proprietary brands in Canada including a.k.a., Image Café, Marilyn, Minimize, Monika Schnarre, Optiq, Respec, Seville, Sutton and Urban. Match will maintain and build upon the majority of the Optiq Frames’ collections and plans to introduce Optiq Frames’ brands into the U.S. Optiq Frames Ltd. currently distributes CAT and Animal brands only within Canada through a distribution agreement with Inspecs; these two brands are distributed in the U.S. directly by Inspecs, USA.

ALLISON RENEWS WITH ICEBERG
Allison S.p.A. and Gilmar S.p.A., manufacturer of apparel brands and owner of Griffe Iceberg, have renewed their licensing agreement for the production and worldwide distribution of Iceberg branded optical frames and sunglasses. The agreement renews a collaboration begun in 2006, which initially focused on a predominantly female collection. Success of the male optical styles introduced in the latest release will lead to the addition of men’s sunglasses going forward.

CLASSIQUE EYEWEAR TO DISTRIBUTE WILLIAM MORRIS LONDON
Classique Eyewear has announced it has the exclusive rights to distribute William Morris London Eyewear in the U.S. Created in 1997 by Robert Morris, William Morris London Eyewear is positioned as a distinctive, vibrant English brand designed for the free-spirited metropolitan wearer. The collection currently consists of 35 styles.

VILLA EYEWEAR NAMED U.S. DISTRIBUTOR FOR PRAMAOR’S BLACKFIN AND BIOEYES
Villa Eyewear has entered into an agreement for the exclusive U.S. distribution of Pramaor brands Blackfin and Bioeyes, effective immediately. Established in 1971 and headquartered in Belluno, Italy, Pramaor produces eyeglasses and sunglasses that combine the traditional attention to “Made in Italy” quality with innovative design.
