LUXOTTICA AND COACH SIGN LICENSING AGREEMENT
Coach and Luxottica Group have signed a licensing agreement for the design, production and worldwide distribution of the sun and optical collections with the Coach, Coach Poppy and Reed Krakoff labels starting in 2012. The Coach collections will be distributed at Coach stores worldwide, select department stores in North America, Japan, China and the Far East, and select airports, independent opticians and Luxottica retail chains. The first collection will be presented in 2012.

ALTAIR AND TOMMY BAHAMA RENEW LICENSING AGREEMENT
Altair and Tommy Bahama, the U.S.-based apparel, accessories and home furnishings subsidiary of Oxford Industries, have extended their current licensing agreement for design and distribution of eyewear and sunwear through September 2016. Altair originally launched the Tommy Bahama optical and sunwear collection for men and women in Fall 2004 to independent eyecare professionals, Tommy Bahama retail locations, specialty retailers and resorts.

SIGNATURE LAUNCHES Y-SPORT BY DAKOTA SMITH
Signature Eyewear launches Y-Sport by Dakota Smith. Targeted to Gen Y, the frames feature memory metal and 180-degree spring hinges at an affordable price point. Dakota Smith is a proprietary brand of Signature Eyewear and is sold around the globe. The objective of the new collection is to reach a younger demographic.

MARCHON EXTENDS LICENSE WITH NIKE
Marchon Eyewear has extended its exclusive global licensing agreement with NIKE, Inc. to design, produce and distribute the Nike Eyewear Collection. Marchon’s licensing and design partnership with the Nike brand started in 1999.

CLASSIQUE LAUNCHES LISA LOEB EYEWEARClassique Eyewear launches the Lisa Loeb Eyewear Collection, inspired by Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb’s signature cat-eye style. The initial collection contains 13 styles (some are unisex); each frame is named after one of her songs. Pictured: Wishing Heart.

PRECISION OPTICS SIGNS WITH WAGNER & KUHNER

Omaha, Neb.-based Precision Optics has been appointed the U.S. distributor for Bad Kreuznach, Germany-based Wagner & Kuhner collections: WK+, a contemporary line for men and women, and More & More, a collection designed for young, active women.
