Alex Mroszczyk-McDonald, a Rudy Project-sponsored athlete, won the Ford Ironman USA Lake Placid Triathlon held last month in Lake Placid, N.Y. The 26-year-old beat out a field of nearly 2,500 age group competitors and was the overall champion in a time of 9:16:02, having run a sub-three-hour marathon while making up more than 16 minutes on the leader off the bike. It is the Vermont resident’s first Ironman in four attempts… and he did it in Rudy Project sunwear and helmets.
