LAS VEGAS--This year only, International Vision Expo West will be held from Thursday, Oct. 2 through Monday Oct. 6; the show portion of Expo will run from Friday through Sunday and the conference acitivities will start Thursday and will wrap up on Monday with a free slate of CE course offerings.

“With the day pattern for International Vision Expo West shifting one day, we want to make sure that all attendees are aware of the change so that they can make their travel plans accordingly,” said Tom Loughran, event director for International Vision Expo. “We’re also pleased to announce our new ‘Travel Ease’ program that will provide multiple travel options available to attendees free of charge.”

The “Travel Ease” program includes free shuttles to the Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, which will be available Sunday, Oct. 5, from 5:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 6, beginning at 1:00 p.m. For attendees headed to the airport, International Vision Expo West will also reimburse the fee for Bags-to-Go, a service which prints attendees boarding pass, checks bags on-site at the show and delivers them to the airport.

“With travel costs particularly high at this time, we encourage all attendees to take advantage of the free transportation options available at International Vision Expo West,” noted Loughran.
