PHOENIX--The Harlem Globetrotters basketball team recently signed a multi-year partnership agreement with the America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses optical chain, owned by National Vision.

The deal with America’s Best, which operates about 170 superopticals across the country, is a one-year agreement--with a two-year renewal option--to become the Globetrotters’ official eyewear retailer. The chain will use the team in its TV, radio and print advertising campaigns, an announcement said.

Noted Paul Gross, senior vice president of marketing for America’s Best, “Our relationship with the Harlem Globetrotters will help bring awareness of the need for affordable, quality eyecare and eyewear.”
