The Mirage Telescope.
Ridgefield, Conn.--Eschenbach Optik, a leading producer of vision technology products, has released the Mirage Telescope, designed for patients who require more than 4x magnification for extended distance viewing tasks.

The Mirage Telescope provides 7x magnification, enabling severely visually impaired patients to engage in distance viewing tasks such sporting events, the theater, movies, and television, in a hands-free manner. With wide 30mm objective lenses, the Mirage Telescope gives patients a 9 degree field of view--twice the field of conventional 7x systems.

In addition, the telescope features a unique adjustable frame (that allows the telescope lenses to be mounted in a low or high position with varying PDs) and an open saddle bridge, each feature helping to optimize “fittability” of the telescope. The lenses of the Mirage Telescope have an anti-reflective coating and high-resolution mirrors and each eye on the telescope can be focused individually from 6’ to infinity.
