CARLSBAD, Calif.—Orange 21. (NASDAQ:ORNG), owner of the Spy Optic brand of sunglasses and goggles, has appointed A. Stone Douglass to its board of directors replacing Jeffrey Theodosakis, who resigned from the board, effective Aug, 7.

“We are saddened that Beaver Theodosakis will not be able to continue serving on our board,” said Mark Simo, CEO of Orange 21. “As one of our founders, Beaver has been instrumental in the development of Spy. We expect Beaver will remain part of the Spy family and we look forward to continuing to have access to his brand and marketing knowledge and expertise.”

Douglass is currently president, CEO and secretary of Steakhouse Partners, which operates 23 steakhouse restaurants in seven states. He is a merchant banker and business management consultant with more than 30 years of experience in finance and managing public and private companies. Douglass is also a managing director of Compass Partners, a merchant bank specializing in restructuring activities.
