Customer Communication Consultant-bilingual

Responsible for providing best-in-class consultative assistance to current and prospective patients in scheduling a variety of appointment types, as well as providing product offerings for LCA-Vision brands and partners including but not limited to LasikPlus, Managed Care plans, and Comprehensive Refractive Solutions (CRS).

Essential Job Functions
• Provide exceptional patient-centered care, maintain professionalism, and follow HIPAA for LCA- Vision brands and partners
• Meet performance benchmarks and metrics expectations as defined by management
• Accurately create and maintain patient records
• Maintain service/product/policy/procedure knowledge and utilize learning resources to support patients and educate about available services
• LasikPlus: utilize sales strategies to generate new leads and sales through inbound and outbound phone calls, web leads, and chat.
• Managed Care: identify in-network and out-of-network providers for patients
• CRS: consult and provide patient education regarding Cataracts, appointment details, lens options, and insurance information.

• Fluent in English and Spanish required
• Must have earned a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to use computer peripherals with or without accommodation: keyboard, monitor, mouse, headset
• Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must pass computer navigation, math, and other related contact center assessments
• Must be highly adaptable to change
• Medical insurance and billing experience is preferred
• Experience in consultative medical sales is a plus
• Two years or more college education or medical background/education is a plus
