AUSTIN, Texas--VisionWeb named Dr. Stan Yamane as Vice President of Professional Relations. Dr. Yamane will join the VisionWeb executive team and become the primary liaison to industry organizations, helping to guide VisionWeb’s growth throughout the professional community.

Yamane retired from Vistakon, a division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc., in April of 2004, where he served as vice president of Professional Affairs for 14 years.
“We are thrilled and honored to have Stan join the VisionWeb team,” said Jeffrey B. Saddington, VisionWeb’s president and CEO. “Our organization is dedicated to the success of the eyecare provider, and Stan shares that passion.”
In his new role, Yamane will manage VisionWeb’s relationships with industry organizations, professional associations, and schools and colleges of optometry. Through speaking engagements, events and writings, he will encourage industry participants to embrace technologies that improve efficiencies and help drive the industry forward. He will be based in Jacksonville, Fla.
