SUN VALLEY, Calif.--The luxury eyewear company Base Curve, which is a division of REM Eyewear, announced the appointment of Mark Shidlofsky to Sales Director, Eastern Region. He will oversee the sales of the optical and non-optical accounts of two brands that debut next month at Vision Expo East--John Varvatos and Carolina Herrera. He will also manage the Eastern region sales representatives.

“Mark Shidlofsky brings many valuable relationships with him as well as a strong knowledge of the high-end segment of the market. He will be instrumental in successfully building Base Curve’s fashion brands,” said Base Curve CEO, Mike Hundert.

Shidlofsky brings 19 years of experience in the eyewear industry. Most recently, he worked at Incite International where he represented eyewear brands Bevel, Zenka and Martin & Martin.
