SACRAMENTO, Calif.--Altair Eyewear expanded the Tommy Bahama Optical collection with four new styles for women and six for men.

The TB109 for women (above) and.the TB116 for men (below).

Relaxed sophistication defines the new collections and in response to a growing need for fashionable frames for the mature male, the men’s models feature larger sizes to accommodate bi-focals and progressive lenses. Combination frames are featured throughout the collection with rich materials including acetate and titanium, subtle temple detailing and two-tone plating effects speaking to the essence of the Tommy Bahama brand.

The women’s models also increased in size to accommodate progressive lens wearers, yet the designs are sophisticated and fashionable with some retro-inspired details. Stone embellishments, acid etched panels, luscious tropical colors and three-dimensional laminated floral accents compliment the Tommy Bahama spring and summer apparel line with attention to quality and detail.

Women’s frame colors are inspired by nature with shades of ebony, burgundy, nutmeg, gold and blue with accents of green, white and pink cameo. The men’s line features extensive two-tone plating in shades of gold, brown, black gunmetal and moss green. Acetate temple tips and logo treatments coordinate with each style to complete the designer appeal.

POP materials include a 12-piece wood and micro-suede display box, 12-piece kit box, a double-sided wood counter sign which also displays a single frame, counter cards, posters and faux crocodile sunglass case with a coordinating micro-fiber cleaning cloth. The new optical frames are priced to the dispenser from $55 to $75.
