LONGARONE, Italy— Marcolin Group (MCL.MI) has announced that Marcolin Brasil will become part of Marcolin USA (MUSA), the division that oversees North and South America, headed by CEO Fabrizio Gamberini, effective immediately. Marcello Reverzani, general manager of Marcolin Brasil, will now report directly to Gamberini. Reverzani, who has been with the Marcolin Group for many years, contributed to the establishment of Marcolin Brasil more than 10 years ago.

“Brazil is a critical growth market for Marcolin USA and Marcolin Group,” said Gamberini. “With two major sporting events on the horizon, the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and the Olympic Games in 2016, we have a tremendous opportunity to connect deeper with our consumers and transform the marketplace also during these two major tourist events that will centralize attention in the entire globe."

According to the company, thanks to record growth in 2011, up 17.6 percent over the year before, MUSA is ready now to integrate the complexity and potential of Brazil into the full Latin America commercial strategy.

Marcolin USA, based in Scottsdale, Ariz., is the Marcolin Group Americas entity. Between the Scottsdale headquarters, the New York showroom and a product development office in Miami, MUSA has over 280 employees in the U.S.
