Matsuda Eyewear presents a new eyewear collection that carries on the legacy of late fashion designer Mitsuhiro Matsuda. Long recognized for exquisite craftsmanship, impeccable attention to design and the use of engraved metals, Matsuda’s luxury eyewear collection has been reintroduced in the U.S. with a 24-style portfolio for men and women. Defined by three distinct collections, all styles are handcrafted in Japan and range from timeless classics to avant-garde designs. The Precious Collection incorporates hand-engraved sterling silver and 18-karat solid gold. The Essential Collection, made of pure titanium, stainless steel and premium Japanese acetate, features new designs drawing upon classic Matsuda details. The Heritage Collection consists of limited production reissues of best-selling, original styles. Each frame is handmade with precise Japanese engineering and focuses on incredible metal work—intricate details, engraving, filigree and coining. Each style is offered in one to five colors.
