LAS VEGAS—The majority of attendees planning to attend Vision Expo West here this week appear to be intrigued by the convenience of the show's new Vision Mobile app.

VM's Latest Web Poll, which is still posted on VisionMonday.com, reveals that 23 percent of the respondents so far are "very" interested in using the Vision Mobile app, citing how it will organize their show experience in a more convenient way.

A large group of respondents to date, 54 percent, said they were "somewhat" interested in using the app, waiting to see if the app was easy to use. Twenty-three percent of respondents, though, felt that they didn't need the Vision Mobile app, indicating "they've managed shows without it in the past."

The Vision Mobile app, available for iPhone via Apple's App store, is also available for Blackberry, Android and other smartphone users, accessed through m.visionexpowest.com/mobile.

Featured are special announcements, show news, Twitter posts, a list of exhibitors, show specials, education info and show specials. Users can also customize their show schedule, request appointments and callbacks, take notes and navigate the show floor plan with the app.
