Stanley Tucci is the consummate character actor, one who often uses glasses to fully realize a role. For his roles in “The Devil Wears Prada” and “Julie & Julia” both playing opposite Meryl Streep, his character were fully realized thanks to his judicious wearing of eyewear. Next up for the actor is the release of the musical “Burlesque” staring Christina Aguilera and musical legend, Cher. Tucci is also cast as Dr. Abraham Erskine in “Captain America: The First Avenger.” We wonder if Tucci’s glasses will make an appearance in either of those films. Tucci’s good friend and co-star Meryl Streep is also a fan of stylish eyewear. Also in May, TAG Heuer surprised Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood with a special gift for his 80th birthday. Eastwood had mentioned that he enjoys wearing TAG Heuer in private and that he is considering placing the watches and sunglasses in his future movies…
