PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y.—Luxottica has added new styles to the Prada eyewear collection for Fall/Winter 2010.

The Prada VPR07N optical style with “hovering” temple (top) and the SPR59M women’s sun style (bottom) from Luxottica.
The collection is distinguished by the introduction of a new “hovering” temple, oversized and soft shapes and a new metal triangle logo; an evolution of the classic Prada triangle.

For optical, the standout styles include the VPR02N, an outsized cat’s-eye shape in transparent shades of acetate; and several models for both men and women which feature the hovering temple concept like the VPR01N, VPR05N, VPR07N and VPR53N.

The star of the women’s sun collection is the SPR59M, a very feminine style characterized by an oversized square shape that pairs a metal structure with plastic accents and gradient lenses. While for men the SPR60M is a metal sunglass heavily inspired by a 1970s vintage aesthetic with a double bridge, embellished temples and gradient lenses.
