FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif.—Oakley, Inc. has announced the launch of OakleyVault.com, a new Web site created for consumers searching for vintage Oakley styles and discontinued products. The new site will also give visitors the opportunity to take advantage of price reductions, the company said.

“We receive countless requests for discontinued designs, and OakleyVault.com will give customers a chance to get their hands on some of these sought-after items,” said Colin Baden, president of Oakley. “Our main Web site and numerous retail locations will continue to serve core fans and followers who want the newest designs.”

The Oakley Vault Web site will have a phased launch that begins with select apparel, footwear and accessories from the company’s past products. The addition of eyewear is currently scheduled for early Fall. The addition of the Oakley Custom Program (OCP), currently active at Oakley.com, is planned for OakleyVault.com, giving customers the ability to still create their own combinations of frame components and colors on discontinued styles, the company added.

Promotions for the new Web site include a series of contests called “Breach the Vault.” The first of which rewards the first 100 orders placed on OakleyVault.com with a free pair of Oakley Hijinx sunglasses. More details can be found at OakleyVault.com.

Oakley, Inc. is a fully-owned subsidiary of Luxottica Group S.p.A. (NYSE: LUX).
