Under a licensing agreement with Daisy Fuentes, celebrated model, TV personality, fitness and beauty expert, fashion designer and role model for the growing millions of Latina-American women in the U.S., Zyloware launches Daisy Fuentes eyewear. Targeted to women between 25 and 45, the new collection contains seven styles made from handcrafted zyl, stainless steel and milled metal. Shapes consist of cat-eye, modified oval and rectangular designs in colors ranging from pink and gold to brown, brown pearl, black, burgundy, claret, purple and turquoise. Design embellishments include foil treatments, engravings, rivets, open temple work and other cut-outs. Frames are equipped with spring hinges.

“As both a fashion designer and a new eyewear consumer, I immediately recognized the need for fashionable eyewear that’s not expensive,” Daisy Fuentes says. Christopher Shyer, Zyloware president adds: “The timing for launching Daisy Fuentes into fashion eyewear is excellent. Her brand, which has generated more than $400 million in sales in less than four years at Kohl’s Departments stores, has found fans in all women, including the Latina community. Her sense of fashion is exceptional—fun, special, a little sexy—and all at a surprisingly affordable price—perfect for 2009.”

Merchandising materials include a three- to six-place display, poster, tri-fold easel card and logo plaque. Each frame comes with a pink metallic clamshell case. Promotions available with launch.
