2  THELIOS and Givenchy have announced their strategic partnership for the exclusive design, development, manufacturing and global distribution of Givenchy Eyewear starting Jan. 1, 2022.

3  IMAGEWEAR has signed an agreement with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to support breast cancer awareness during the months of August, September and October 2021. The promotion will include raising funds from the sales of Betsey Johnson prescription frame and sun kits sold to eyecare professionals.

4  SAFILO and Chiara Ferragni have announced their new multi-year global licensing agreement for the design, manufacture and distribution of the first Chiara Ferragni branded eyewear collection.

5  ESSILOR VISION FOUNDATION (EVF) is supporting Lions KidSight USA’s Project SEE CLEARLY 2021, a nationwide back-to-school vision screening campaign. The campaign’s goal is to clear up the national backlog of children needing vision screening and vision correction that built up in 2020.

6  L’AMY AMERICA and Scene Eyewear, LLC have announced an exclusive partnership for the manufacturing of American-made eyewear. This agreement will enable L’Amy America to create its own house brands as well as enhance its portfolio of consumer American branded collections.

10  MONDOTTICA USA has announced a multi-year license agreement with Boardriders for the design, production and distribution of Quiksilver prescription frames and prescription sunglasses for the optical channel in the U.S., Latin America and Caribbean.

11  SHOPKO OPTICAL has welcomed Bob Kampstra to its leadership team as the new chief financial officer. In his position, he will lead Shopko Optical’s finance team while planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of Shopko Optical.
