1 WEBMD HEALTH CORP., an Internet Brands company, has acquired Jobson Healthcare Information (JHI), a leading provider of information, education and marketing services in key healthcare markets. The JHI family of brands includes 20/20 Magazine, Vision Monday, Frames Data, Review of Optometry, Review of Ophthalmology, MD/alert, Pharm/alert, U.S. Pharmacist, PowerPak and Postgraduate Institute for Medicine.

2  GOTTI SWITZERLAND has been awarded gold at the International Design Awards in Los Angeles for its Perspective collection in the “Product Design – Accessory” category.



3  RODENSTOCK has begun distributing its Porsche Design Eyewear in the United States through its subsidiary Rodenstock USA LLC. 4  WILEY X has appointed Ray T. Hill IV as its vice president of retail sales. Hill has been with the brand for more than 15 years.

5  THE MCGEE GROUP has added The Reading Glass Company to grow its reader category under the Vera Bradley, Life is Good and Totally Rimless brands. John and Linda Nides have joined The McGee Group to lead the new division.

6 RAEN has announced the appointment of Scott Chantos as vice president of sales and marketing and Adam Quick as its new director of sales. Both will be based out of the company’s global Oceanside, Calif., headquarters and report to brand CEO Jeff Fitzhugh.

7 ESSILOR has moved up in Forbes’ World’s 100 Most Innovative Companies annual ranking. This year it is ranked 52nd—a marked increase compared to 2017 (68th).

8 LONGCHAMP was recently honored with the ACE Legacy Award at the Accessories Council’s 22nd ACE Awards in NYC. Longchamp CEO Jean Cassegrain was on hand to accept the award. The French luxury leather goods company debuted its Longchamp Eyewear collection last fall with Marchon Eyewear.
