1  SAFILO and Missoni have announced their new five-year global eyewear licensing agreements for Missoni and M Missoni, renewable at the same conditions up to 2029.

2  MARCOLIN GROUP and L Brands have partnered to create an eyewear collection for the Victoria’s Secret and Victoria’s Secret PINK brands with global distribution in the optical market beginning in 2019 and a worldwide licensing agreement that is valid until the end of 2023.

3  KERING EYEWEAR has launched its newly designed website keringeyewear.com, which allows users to stay up to date with Kering Eyewear’s latest news and collections, as well as the ability to consult the company’s career opportunities and open positions.

4  TEKA EYEWEAR has named Frank Rescigna as its new president, bringing in 30 years of experience in the optical industry including roles as president of Viva International, president of Marcolin Eyewear, vice president of sales of Charmant and most recently as senior vice president of sales at Wiley X.

5  HILCO VISION has acquired Tucson, Ariz.-based ophthalmic supply company Eye Care and Cure (ECC).

6  SAFILO and Tommy Hilfiger have renewed their global licensing agreement for the exclusive design, manufacturing and worldwide distribution of ophthalmic and sunglass collections under the Tommy Hilfiger brand with the agreement running until Dec. 31, 2025.

7  ONESIGHT has announced that it will be expanding programming to three new countries in 2019 which include Jordan, Mongolia and Nepal.

8  COOPERVISION has donated $262,000 to Optometry Giving Sight in support of the 2018 World Sight Day Challenge.

9  REVO has announced two additions to its executive team: Gabor Kereszturi as managing director, Europe and Linda Laube in the newly created role of senior vice president, business development.

10  SAFILO and Alpargatas have announced the early renewal of their global havaianas eyewear license, now running through December 2024.
