Viva International Group adds an eight-piece sunglass collection to its Harley-Davidson Eyewear line. The new styles are targeted to individuals 25 and older who lead an active life and have a desire for contemporary style in a variety of prescription-friendly designs. Included are five men’s plastics, one metal and one metal/ plastic combination in classic rectangular shapes, including a Wayfarer–inspired design. The collection also features a women’s plastic in a modified cat eye. Logo applications consist of the brand’s iconic bar and shield, and skull logos infused into the temple design. The sunglasses are offered in black, brown, gunmetal and tortoise in sizes ranging from 55mm to 59mm.
PHILOSOPHY: “Harley-Davidson is a highly coveted brand that is perfect for the motorcycle aficionado and other active individuals,” says Elizabeth Tontodonati, Viva’s general manger of brands. “These styles enable the optician to pay attention to the corrective needs of the consumer without the limitations of frame construction. Each sunglass also showcases the brand’s signature styling at exceptional price points.”

MARKETING: Merchandising materials include a six-place display and countercard featuring the brand’s new print ad campaign. Each sunglass comes with a hard case.
