Sàfilo USA presents its first Marc by Marc Jacobs ophthalmic collection since July 2008. Included are 11 vintage-inspired, cutting-edge styles (eight women’s and three unisex designs) that set the standard for what’s happening in street fashion. These new frames, with shapes reminiscent of the ’50s, ’70s and ’80s, complement the playful style of the ever-popular Marc by Marc Jacobs clothing and accessories line, bringing the same distinctive details and sophisticated, urban attitude to the eyewear. The collection features a predominance of rectangles in traditional, soft and shallow silhouettes as well as modified ovals and cat eyes. Two styles are semi-rimless. Color combinations range from violet/plum, eggplant/crystal, burgundy/red and brown/teal to palladium white/blue, dark ruthenium/tea, sand/brown and black/white/black.
